The program is open to small-to-midsize news publishers globally who are looking to grow their digital businesses.Workshops are designed for experienced business executives at small- and mid-sized news organizations who are tasked with leading or accelerating digital growth.
GNI Digital Growth Program workshops are delivered via YouTube Live sessions and will last up to 60 minutes per workshop with the opportunity to ask questions through chat. You will be able to join the sessions live simply by clicking on the link that you’ll receive via email, or by revisiting the event page to watch them on-demand.
The program currently offers workshops in 9 languages globally (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian and Polish). We will add more content across these existing languages over the next few months. Over time, we may also expand to other languages.
Each session will last up to 60 minutes, including the Q&A. In every language/region, there will be one session per topic offered per week. We recommend attending the full curriculum for each topic.
In an effort not to fill your inboxes, we do not send automatic registration emails. Instead, you will receive an email the day before the workshop begins reminding you of your registration.
The workshops are open to all small-to-midsize news publishers.

The livestream briefing and modules will be in English. Through this program, we offer workshops in 9 languages globally (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, Korean, French, German, Italian and Polish), which you can also access.
We recommend attending the full curriculum of sessions within a topic area, which is why registration encompasses the whole series of workshops. However, if you cannot attend a session, you can still join future workshops and watch past sessions on demand.
We will offer the chance to have a free consulting session with experts to a group of randomly selected publishers that have attended all sessions within a given curriculum and answered our surveys. If you miss a session, you will not be eligible for this premium experience.
All workshops are recorded and accessible for on-demand viewing on this page. Just click the "watch on-demand" button after the event. You'll still need to register to watch events on-demand. If you make up for a missed workshop by watching the on-demand session, you are still eligible for the free consulting session.

TECHNICAL
You will need the livestream link and a device such as a mobile, tablet, laptop or desktop computer with a good internet connection. If you are in a busy environment, you may need a pair of headphones to listen in.
Please check the bottom left hand corner of the YouTube video to see if you may have accidentally muted yourself. YouTube remembers the last setting for your volume when you previously watched a Youtube video.
Try refreshing or reloading the page to see if it works, or if you have other too many applications or other video windows open, try closing them. If the issue persists, open up YouTube on another browser and check if you can view other YouTube videos. If you are not able to view other Youtube videos, this means there may be some issues with watching Youtube videos on your machine. If you are able to view other Youtube videos, this may mean that your machine is not able to watch videos that are live streamed.
Try updating the Quality settings on the Youtube controls near the bottom of the content window.
